Critical infrastructure decisions
1. Form posts directly to your serverless function, not to your CRM. Most CRMs process inserts async — adding 5-30 seconds of latency. The right architecture: form → your endpoint → score + acknowledge → THEN log to CRM.
2. Enrichment is fire-and-forget with a 15-second timeout. If Clearbit takes longer than 15s, proceed without it. Better to acknowledge in 60s with partial data than 3 minutes with complete data.
3. The acknowledgment email is templated. Only personalisation tokens are dynamic (name, industry, estimated reclaim). No LLM call in the critical path — too slow + adds hallucination risk.

Part 9 · The most common mistakes (we see in audits)
Mistake 1: Form posts directly to a CRM Adds 5-30s of latency, often more. Form must post to a fast endpoint that acknowledges first, logs to CRM later.
Mistake 2: Scoring lives in the AE's head "I just know which leads are hot." This is the most-common pre-Aiprosol audit finding. The AE's gut is usually 70% accurate; the algorithmic model is 85-90%. Codify it.
Mistake 3: Slack ping with no escalation "AE on rota gets pinged" is the start; if no AE response in 10 minutes, where does it go? Most teams have no answer. The lead leaks.
